Samuel Charles Hickson (1872-1932)

Samuel Charles Hickson was born in 1872 and received his education at Sheffield Technical School and the Ecole des Arts et Metiers at Le Havre.

After serving his apprenticeship with Vickers, Sheffield, he spent fourteen years with the Compagnie Internationale d'Electricite on installation work and subsequently became technical and commercial representative in England, France, Switzerland and Spain for the Belgian firm of Usines G. Derihon.

He died on 7th September, 1932, at the age of 60.

He was a member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers.
