1891 Formed Quinton Cycle Co with brother Bernard Gorton

1891 Living at 15 Rothesay Avenue, Coventry: Samuel Gorton (age 37 born Wolverhampton), Cycle Manufacturer - Employer. With his wife Emily Gorton (age 34 born Wolverhampton) and their three children; Edward Augustus Gorton (age 13 born Wolverhampton); Florence Eveline Gorton (age 6 born Coventry); and Bertram Samuel Gorton (age 4 born Coventry). One servant.[1]
