1861 Living at 219 Western Bank, Ecclesall Bierlow: Samuel Henry Burrows (age 43 born Sheffield), Iron Master. With his wife Sarah and sons John Henry Burrows (age 15 born Sheffield) and Thomas Burrows (age 7 born Sheffield); also two daughters.[1]

1892 December 12th. Died age 75, Iron Manufacturer. Two sons John Henry and Thomas. Two daughters Mary Hodgson and Sarah Gallimore.[2]
