1918 Lt. Samuel Montague Gluckstein, R.F.A. was awarded the DSO for conspicuous gallantry[2]

1928 Died. 'The death has occurred at a nursing home Samuel Montague Gluckstein, Wimbledon, a director of Messrs J. S. Lyons and Co., and several other companies He was 43 years of age.'[3]

Samuel Montague Gluckstein was born in 1886 and was throughout his career associated with the firm of J. Lyons and Co, of which he subsequently became a Director.

He took a considerable interest in the engineering side of the business, and was also a Director of Normand Garage.

He died on 30th August, 1928.

He was elected an Associate of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1910.
