1891 Charles Dutton 22, and Samuel Telford Dutton 19, both civil engineers, were visitors in Tremadoc, Aberystwyth[1]

Sent to India on behalf of his father's company Dutton and Co.

Worked on many signalling schemes on railways in India. Joined the East Indian Railway and worked his way up to more responsible positions.

1921 Deputy Chief Engineer, East Indian Railway became a member of the Inst of Civil engineers[2]

1939 Civil engineer, lived in Paddington[3]
