1901 Living at Belmont, Exeter: Samuel Ward (age 51 born Exeter), Manure and Coal Merchant. With four children.[3]

1911 Living at Redcot, Streatham Hall, Exeter: Samuel Ward (age 61 born Exeter), Coal, manure and General Merchant - employer. With his wife Amy and their daughter.[4]
