1835 A business was established (said to be by John Taylor but it seems likely this refers to a different company)

c.1855 Moved to Sandycroft.

1862 John Taylor took over the Sandycroft business - see Sandycroft Foundry Co

1900 Incorporated as a Private Limited Company.

1914 Sandycroft Foundry Co were manufacturers of mining and electrical machinery. Sandycroft Ltd was recorded as mining engineers.[1]

1921 Sandycroft Limited, formerly known as the Sandycroft Foundry Company Limited, formerly having its registered office at Sandycroft Foundry, Sandycroft (near Chester), in the county of Flint, and now having its registered office situate at 4, Broad Street-place, in the city of London[2].

1922 Directors: Harald Benderson (Chairman), A. Ewing (Managing), E. Sydney Taylor and N. B. Dickson. Products: Light and heavy castings, forgings woodwork. Specialities: Mining and quarrying machinery induction motors, starters and generators, cascade induction motors.

1925 The works closed due to lack of orders.
