1968 Scott's porridge oats as part of Cerebos, was acquired by Ranks Hovis McDougall in an agreed take-over[2].

1969 The marketing of three companies in RHM was coordinated, including Scotts-Energen Foods, Cerebos Foods and McDougall Foods[3]
