After the Commer contract ended the company had lots of left over components which were used to make and sell as Shefflex trucks.

R. A. Johnstone was encouraged after the success of the truck production so he restarted Shefflex Motor Co in Tinsley. To start with the company made two goods models and after that a 24 seater passenger chassis.
