1876 Partnership change. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, James Sherwin, Arthur Sherwin, Edward Wood, and Samuel Cotton, as Tile Manufacturers, at Vine-street, Hanley, in the county of Stafford, under the style or firm of Sherwin, Wood, and Company, was dissolved as from the 28th day of April last, so far as regards the said Edward Wood, and that all debts due by and to the said partnership will be paid and received by the said James Sherwin, Arthur Sherwin, and Samuel Cotton, by whom the said business will in future be carried on at the place aforesaid, under the style of Sherwin and Cotton...'[1]
