Shipbuilding Employers' Federation

1899 The Federation was established.

1920 A. M. Kennedy was president.

1921 Lieut-Colonel James Lithgow was president.[1]

1924 Mr John Barr was elected president in succession to Mr Grant Barclay. Mr A. J. Campbell of William Beardmore and Co was elected Vice-President, in addition to J. T. Batey and Sir Andrew R. Duncan.[2]

1941 Mr Wilfrid Ayre elected president.

1967 There was an amalgamation of the Shipbuilding Employers' Federation, the Dry Dock Owners' and Repairers Central Council and the Shipbuilding Conference, to form the Shipbuilders and Repairers National Association.
