1823 Shoreditch gasworks were built by the Imperial Gas Light and Coke Co

1862 One of 3 gasworks of Imperial Gas Light and Coke Co

1876 The company was amalgamated with the Gas Light and Coke Co

1934 Continued to manufacture coke (?) until 1934 after which only the CWG (Carburetted Water Gas) plant remained in operation until the site was finally closed in 1953 and subsequently dismantled.
