1870 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between John Shortridge and Charles Wright, in the trade or business of Gunpowder Manufacturers, carried on by them at Worsborough, in the county of York, under the firm of Shortridge and Wright, was dissolved on the 7th day of May, 1869, by the death of the said John Shortridge. And further notice is given, that all the debts owing by or to the said firm will be paid and received by the said Charles Wright, who is now carrying on the said business on his own account.— Dated this 7th day of May, 1870. Sarah Sellers, George Miller, Charles Wright, John Chambers, Executrix and Executors of the said John Shortridge. Charles Wright....'[1]
