1939 Shuker and Son Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £11,500, to acquire the business of an ironmonger, builders' merchant, general hardware dealer, garage proprietor and motor-car, motor-cycle and pedal cycle dealer, carried on by F. Lowe at Pride Hill, Shrewsbury, as Shuker and Son.[1]

1988 The company changed its name to Shukers Limited in August.[2]
