1908 Founded Bovis, as a small decorator and builder in London

1917 Married at Paddington to Clara B. Vos

1938 Changed his name to Sidney Glyn, of 29 Elsworthy Road Hampstead in the county of London.[1]

1939 Residing at Heatherwold, Burghclere, a Building, Company Director. With Claire (born 1896), Denis (born 1919) and John (born 1921).[2]

1960 Retired as chairman and managing director of Bovis Holdings[3]

1966 December 25th. Died, of Heatherwold, Burghclere. Probate to his son Dr. Denis H. Glyn and Dr. John H. Glyn.
