c.1889 Established by Benjamin Simons; joined by Arthur Ingamells in 1904, having been with the firm for 10 years previously.

1914 Simons and Ingamells amalgamated with another firm of agricultural auctioneers and valuers, E. A. Young and Son, to form Simons, Ingamells, Young and Son.[1]
