Simplex Electric Tramway Conduit Syndicate

1897 Demonstration of an experimental electric tramway system by the Syndicate on land belonging to the British Insulated Wire Co at Prescot; current collection was from a conductor placed under one of the rails of the tramway.

1902 EGM held at the registered office of the Company, 6, Castle-street, Liverpool; the company would be wound up voluntarily. Edmund K. Musprat (presumably Edmund Knowles Muspratt) was chairman[1]
