See Simpson and Co (of India)

1903 July. 'a steam car constructed throughout by Indian labour, has been completed by Messrs. Simpson and Co., of Hyderabad. This vehicle, which is of the tonneau pattern, and generally speaking on locomobile lines, is provided with a Clarkson burner, which is the only portion of the whole which has not been manufactured in India. The speed of the car is not excessive, its maximum pace being estimated at 16 miles an hour, but the Clarkson burner enabling it to employ ordinary kerosene is a great advantage in India, and Messrs. Simpson and Co. anticipate at an early date having a considerable number of cars of this type on the market.'[1]
