'...the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, Ollive Sims and Alexander Henry Shaw; carrying on business at Stockport, in the county of Chester, as Chymists and Druggists under the firm of Sims and Shaw, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to or owing by the said firm will be received and paid by the said Alexander Henry Shaw, by whom the business will in future be carried on...'[1]
