Company formed by Sir Evan Owen Williams

Post-WWII the company design the Daily Express Building, Manchester. Although Williams was more of an engineer than an architect, the Manchester Express Building was lauded for architecture and demonstrated his proficiency as an architect.[1]

Became Sir Owen Williams and Partners.

Owen Williams' grandson, Richard Williams took over the partnership which became Owen Williams Group.

2006 Amey acquired the highway and railway design consultancy, Owen Williams Group, allowing it to substantially grow its business and develop its own consultancy division.
