'...the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, Sir William Feilden, Baronet, Montague Joseph Feilden, and John Leyland Feilden, as Cotton Spinners and Power Loom Cloth Manufacturers, at Blackburn, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of Sir William Feilden and Sons, has been dissolved, so far as respects the said John Leyland Feilden, as from the 31st day of December last, by mutual consent; and that the said businesses will, as from the said 31st day of December last, in future be carried on by the continuing partners, under the firm of Sir William Feilden, Son, and Co....'[1]
