Smyth and Co
Smyth and Co of Balbriggan.
Founded in 1700s.
The business popularised the type of hoisery known as "balbriggans" though a trademark for the name was never acquired. By the time of independence Smyth and Co. was owned by a local Protestant unionist family, the Whytes.[1]
