1945 Company incorporated, a subsidiary of Solus Electrical[1]

1949 Became a subsidiary of Murphy Radio Ltd

1961 Supplied first high power X-ray tubes for crystallography experiments on proteins at the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge. Continued to supply equipment for non-destructive testing to customers at home and abroad and also offered inspection services worldwide[2]

1963 Company voluntarily wound up[3], the activities being carried on by other parts of the Rank Organisation
