South Hants

From Graces Guide

South Hants of Floating Bridge Works, Portsmouth, produced a motorcycle in 1903.

This model had an engine fixed behind the rear wheel of a bicycle. One particular model was an old Humber fitted with a 2.5hp Minerva engine. The positioning of this was said to remove vibration from the rider, while the actual vibration helped to propel the machine.
