1912 Detailed description of the production of circular saw blades in the American Machinist. [1]. An interesting observation concerns a heavy duty press: 'It was brought over from England 50 or 60 years ago and in unloading it from the ship, something gave way and the press went into the harbor, where it lay for several weeks before it was finally fished out. After several movings it found its way to Columbus, Ohio. It was taken from there by one of the firm to its present location, where it has been for 27 years. .....'
