1899 Spurrier Glazebrook's premises are shown in the Manchester edition of Goad's Insurance Plans as being located close to the Albert Bridge, bounded by the River Irwell, Worsley Street, by the finishing works of Gatley, Vickers and Co, and behind a row of buildings which faced onto New Bailey Street.
