St. George's Steam Packet Co
1838 'Mr. Macgregor Laird and his partners chartered the steamer Sirius, owned by the St. George Steam Packet Co., of Cork, and engaged in the coastwise run between Cork and London, to make their first Atlantic crossing.'[1]
