Situated at 49 Polsloe Road, Exeter

Previously known as St. Olave's and situated in Bartholomew Street East.

1902 Opened by the Church of England Home for Waifs and Strays in Polsloe Road where it accommodated 30 girls from age 6 upward.

Some children were sent from here to start a new life in Canada

1906 St. Lawrence's Home, branch of the Church of England Homes for Waifs and Strays. Miss Lucy Hughes, Matron.[1]

1910 Miss M. Packer was Secretary and Treasurer; Miss M. Wood was Matron.[2]

1935 Miss H. Mend-King was Secretary; Miss E. Archer was Matron.[3]

Post WWII renamed as the St. Lawrence's Reception and Intermediate Home

1956 Closed.
