Stag Cabinet Co Ltd. of Haydn Road, Nottingham, furniture makers

1914 The company was incorporated in Nottingham by the Radfords (presumably in reconstruction of company of a similar name).

1914 the Stag Cabinet Co., Ltd., Furniture Manufacturer, of Sherwood. Nottingham, was advertising for staff[1]

1938 Mentioned as one of the important furniture manufacturing centres in the country (ie Nottingham?); amongst those represented at a Christmas Tree ceremony were: Messrs. V. N. Radford (Stag Cabinet Company), H. S. Cheshire (Cheshire’s of Nottingham), George Stokes (Everest Upholstery Company), W. A. Anderson (W. Lawrence)[2]

1949 The Stag Cabinet Co. acquired a smaller factory nearby, owned until recently by Messrs. J. S Beaumont, furniture manufacturers. It is being turned over to the making of radio cabinets[3]

1967 The Stag Cabinet Co. introduced their new Savanna range, at the Furniture Show. [4]

1972 Public issue of shares in Stag Furniture Holdings Ltd, parent of Stag Cabinet Co Ltd
