Coal Owner of Coventry and one of the first users of the Newcomen Engine.

Parrot used iron instead of copper for the bottom part of the boiler but he retained the dished lead top. He may be regarded as the founder of the Boiler-Making trade, the date of his invention being around 1725.[1]
