1901 Bought a two-cylinder Cottereau

1944 Died. 'Mr. Stanley P. Corry, for many years well known in the Belfast motor trade, and at one time a racing motorcyclist, died at his residence. Hillside, Demense Road, Holywood. Mr. Corry. who began his business career with Messrs, Workman, Clark and Co, founded the Ulster Motor Works. Gt. Victoria Street and for many year occupied a leading place in the motor trade. He retired about 15 years ago. He owned one of the first motor cycles and motor cars in Belfast, and at one time was a familiar figure on his racing machine on Magilligan Strand. His motor-cycling successes included the Irish 100 miles and the five miles championships. He also took keen interest in motor-boat racing and yachting and frequently acted as starter at the Royal Ulster Yacht Club. In his younger days was a keen tennis player. He was also a member of the Royal Belfast Golf Club. His wife, who survives him, was a daughter the late Mr. W. H. M'Laughlin, D.L. Macedon. Whitehouse. He is also survived by a daughter and two sons.'[1]
