1903 Steel and Bennie Limited was incorporated as a private concern, with capital of £70,000, to acquire the undertakings of the firm known as the Glasgow and Greenock Shipping Company and Messrs Steel & Bennie, shipowners, Glasgow and elsewhere, and to carry on the business of shipowners and shipping agents.[1]

1994 The company, now known as Cory Ship Towage (Clyde) Limited, went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
