Stenhouse

From Graces Guide

Whisky merchants, Glasgow

1915 Stenhouse Limited, of 166 Howard Street, Glasgow, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to take over the wine merchants and whisky blending portion of the business of the firm of William Stenhouse and Co, Glasgow, but excluding the whisky broking portion of the business.[1]

1937 The company went into voluntary liquidation. It is not clear how the two companies became connected, but Beatson, McLeod and Co was liquidated at the same time.[2]
