1885 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Stephen Longdin and John Longdin, of Newton Foundry, Holland-street, off Butler-street, in Manchester, Iron founders, carrying on business under the style or firm of Stephen and John Longdin, was dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 1st of January last. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Stephen Longdin, who will continue the business on his own account...'[1]
