Stopham Bridge, West Sussex

at Stopham, between Pulborough and Petworth
Built c.1420. A distinctive feature is an arch appreciably higher than its neighbours, being rebuilt in 1822 to allow larger vessels to pass. A modern bridge was built a short distance upstream in 1986 to bypass the old bridge.[1]
