Stratfield Saye Bridge

From Graces Guide

in Berkshire

Cast iron bridge constructed in 1802. Designed by Thomas Wilson (1751-1820). Ironwork by Walker's of Rotherham.

The bridge broadly resembles the much larger Spanish Town Bridge (Jamaica), which was also designed by Wilson with castings by Walker's, but the bridges differ in the arrangement of the cast iron arch members (the voussoirs).
