1842 Sale Notice: 'Printing Machines, Copper Rollers, 20-Horse Condensing Steam Engine, Two 30-Horse Boilers, &c.
By T. M. FISHER, (by order of the Executors of the late Mr Thomas Sandiford,) on 17th February, 1841, at the Stubbins Print Works, Ramsbottom.— Sale to commence at 10o'clock in the forenoon.
The Valuable MACHINERY, comprising one 9-8ths 4-colour, one 7-8ths 3-colour, and one 7-8ths 4-colour and surface cylinder printing machines with blanket framing and driving gear; new surface part to 4-8ths machine, 9-8ths forcing machine, pair squeezers, 9-8ths mangle with two wood and one metal bowls, six dash wheels and gearing, four capital dye becks with steam pipes, water pipe, valves and gearing, dunging cistern, capital range of six copper colour pans, with steam pipes and taps, eighty-five 7-8ths and 9-8ths copper rollers, fifty-four surface rollers, indigo mill, cylinder drying machine, four steam and water pipes, smiths' anvil, bellows, and tools, engineer's tools, block tin mangle bowl, pair of mangle cheeks, very excellent condensing steam engine, 20-horses power, and two 30-horse power steam boilers.
