SUWARROW MOORE HOPKINS died at the age of fifty-five years at his residence, "Morriston," Selly Oak, on August 5, 1921.

He was trained as a metallurgist at the Royal School of Mines, South Kensington, and thence went for three years to Venezuela on duties connected with the Auroa Copper Mines.

On his return he became associated as metallurgist and chemist with the Birmingham Battery and Metal Company, Limited, of Selly Oak, Birmingham, where he had a successful career.

Mr. Hopkins was a prominent Freemason, being a member of the "Fidelity," the "Concord," and the "Bedford" Lodges. He was an original member of the Institute.
