1914 November. Changes name. 'I, SYDNEY MARK CAPPER, heretofore called and known by the name of Sydney Mark Friedlander, of 6, Cleve-road, West Hampstead, in the county of London, Mechanical Engineer, being a British born subject, hereby give public notice, that on the tenth day of November, 1914, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished and abandoned the use of my said surname of Friedlander....'[2]
