The former riding school is now part of a garden centre.

The Historic England listing dates it at c.1819-1826. Built for Hugh Percy, 3rd Duke of Northumberland. The designer is thought to be either Charles Fowler or Thomas Cundy I. [1]

The most noteworthy feature is a 28-bay iron truss roof. See photos. Cast iron compression members, wrought iron tension members.
