1882 Ernest Terah Hooley entered into partnership with his father, Terah Hooley, as T. Hooley, lace manufacturers of Long Eaton[1]

1887 The company was registered on 12 November, to take over the business of T. Hooley, lace manufacturers. [2]

1892 The partnership was converted into a limited company [3].
