T. and T. Motors of Conduit Street, London W1

Silva was a scooter produced in 1920. This was a simple design that incorporated the Auto Wheel 117cc aiv four-stroke engine and wheel unit in place of the usual front wheel, with the fuel tank above the wheel. It had unsprung and unbraced forks and twin tubes running downwards from the steering head to a flat platform on which the rider stood, as there was no saddle. It was single speed with chain drive and gear driven CAV magneto. It failed to last the year.
