T. and W. Ide Group is one of the most experienced and oldest independent glass and framing companies of its kind in the UK. The works are still based at Glasshouse Fields.

1929 Listed Exhibitor. Manufacturers of Distorting Mirrors. Patentees of the "Cheval" type distorting Mirror, giving innumerable different distortions. Specialists in packing for export. (Stand No. C.52) [1]

1952 Patent - Improvements in or relating to roof lights.

1967 Patent - Improvements in or relating to hinge means, particularly for use on rooflights provided with vertical side shutters.
