1852 Born in Dublin the son of Richard Henry Grierson and his wife Jane Blake

1898 Presentation to Grierson, M.Inst.C.E., Chief Engineer, to the Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway, who has recently taken the position of Chief Engineer and Locomotive Supt. on the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway.[1]

1911 Living at The Firs, Priest Hill, Caversham, Oxon: Thomas Benjamin Grierson (age 58 born Dublin), Civil Engineer (M.I.C.E.) G.W. Rly. With his wife Frances Emily, his married daughter and SIL and their son.[2]
