1921 Dissolution of the Partnership between Thomas Birkhead and Percy Birkhead, carrying on business as Cloth Finishers, at Bridge Mills, Holmfirth, in the county of York, under the style or firm of " THOMAS BIRKHEAD AND SON." All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Percy Birkhead.[1]

1921 Thomas Birkhead and Son Ltd was incorporated

1981 Renamed as A.T.C. Specialist Product and Service Division Ltd

1993 One of a number of subsidiaries at Southfield Mills worsted spinning operations in Huddersfield that were sold to Hield Brothers.[2]
