1869 Born the son of Henry Buckton, Tallow Chandler and Grocer, and his wife Mary

1911 Living at North Lea, Lightcliffe: Thomas Potter Buckton (age 41 born Halifax), Motor Engineer - on own account. With his wife Gertrude Buckton (age 38 born Lincoln) and their four children; Gertrude Primrose Buckton (age 12 born Hipperholme); Kathleen Marjory Buckton (age 11 born Hipperholme); Henry Buckton (age 9 born Hipperholme); and Thomas Eric Buckton (age 6 born Huddersfield).[1]
