Mr. T. C. F. Stott (Member), was educated at East Ham Technical College, and after completing his apprenticeship entered the drawing office of the Associated Equipment Co., Ltd.

In 1929 he received an appointment as designer with Commer Cars, Ltd., and in 1934 joined the engineering department of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd.

He was appointed assistant heavy vehicle engineer in 1940, transmission engineer in 1945, and in 1954, following short periods as assistant military vehicle engineer and assistant passenger vehicle engineer, took up his present position as passenger vehicle engineer.
