Two separate references, not sure whether they are the same person:

1825 Thomas Ellin and Co, (later Oldale and Ellin), of Arundel Street, were manufacturers of table knives and forks, and many other types of knives[1]

1825 Thomas Ellin, razor manufacturer, of 17 Edward Street[2]

1833 Master Cutler

1837 Thomas Ellin senior was living in Brincliffe Edge; Thomas Ellin junior was living in South Street, Ecclesall Bierlow[3]

1847 Thomas Ellin died in Ecclesall Bierlow[4]
