1871 Living at 48 Horton Road, Horton, Bradford: Robinson Thwaites (age 64 born Bradford), Engineer and Tool Maker employing 130 men and 13 boys. With his wife Anna Thwaites (age 59 born Clayton) and their three sons; Thomas H. Thwaites (age 25 born Horton), Engineer and Tool Maker; William H. Thwaites (age 20 born Horton), Engineer and Tool Maker; and Albert E. Thwaites (age 6 born Horton).[1]
