With his wife Lucy Pemberton (age 31 born London) and their four children; Mary Pemberton (age 5 born Birmingham); Lucy Pemberton (age 3 born Birmingham); Thomas Edgar Pemberton (age 1 born Birmingham); and Ebenezer Johnson Pemberton (age 1 month born Birmingham). 1868 Patent. '1454. And Thomas Pemberton and George Arthur Pemberton, both of Birmingham, in the county of Warwick, Brass Founders, have given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in alarm bells, call bells, and other bells."'[2]
